A little about me

I grew up in Miami, got a BFA in Graphic Design in Philadelphia, started my career in NYC, honed my skills in the Bay Area, traveled the world for 17 months, then settled in Portland, OR.

A little about my approach

Projects rarely follow the idealized path. While I have a generalized approach to each design challenge, it’s really about doing what makes sense for each project. I have a toolkit of tried-and-true activities and artifacts so I can be flexible in my process every time.

Who, What, Where, Why…
Getting to the end product is smoother by creating a strategy based on who the audience is, what their needs are, and why we’re tackling the problem, together with business objectives.

3

…and How
Getting tactical. This part is about designing a flexible framework that allows that bends without breaking. This leads to creating solutions from mild to wild to create a delightful and usable end product.

Build, Test, Iterate, Test
Design isn’t precious. It should be tested, learned from, and adjusted to release the best product possible.
